Occupational Safety and Health and IoT Cross-domain Talent Promotion Program

  • Publication Date:2021-09-17

This research worked with 10 domestic institutions to use cross-domain courses for internal education and training materials for labor safety and other related operators. Some institutions also taught online using online education and training. This research was completed through physical teaching and online courses and conducted training of 1225 people. According to the test data before and after the course, the backside scores have improved, generally after the course teaching regardless of whether online or physical teaching were used. However, after using physical teaching, the test scores improved more than using online teaching, which shows that the trainees have knowledge of the Internet of things after lectures with a further understanding of applications. The cross-domain course of this research has been recognized by most public institutions and labor safety personnel. In the future, it can be combined with occupational safety and health education and training units, using teaching materials as teaching tools, teaching and promoting through professional instructors, and integrating innovative technologies such as the Internet of Things into labor safety related on-the-job education and training courses for personnel to enhance their knowledge of IoT applications.
