Division of Occupational Hazards Assessment

The Division of Occupational Hazards Assessment conducts research in hazardous materials sampling and analysis technology, hazardous factors exposure investigation and management, sampling equipment performances, labor and workplace health management and assessment, occupational disease and biological exposure indicators, occupational disease monitoring system and technology, and occupational epidemiology studies. The Division aims to establish the technology for analyzing hazardous materials in workplace through the development and validation of environmental testing and biological detection methods, and to continue studying workplace exposure to hazardous materials in order to learn the status quo. Through occupational epidemiology studies, and labor and workplace health management and assessment, the Division hopes to provide standards and references for regulations and laws, occupational disease prevention policy, and occupational disease diagnosis, in order to reduce occupational diseases.
