The Asian Occupational Safety and Health Research Institutes Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the “AOSHRI meeting”) was initiated and organized by the National Institute of Industrial Health of Japan in 2004. By holding meetings every 2-3 years, members are able to share their experiences, and the AOSHRI meetings have become a platform for cooperation and exchanges for workplace safety and health (WSH) research institutes in Asia.
Currently, it consists of national occupational safety and health research institutes from Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Brunei, and Taiwan.
